Alec Broadfoot founder of In The Black, Business Analysts, LLC (In The Black) created his company to make immediate improvements in the lives of business owners. 

He does this by applying wisdom he has learned through starting and running three businesses of his own. 

The benefits are bottom line increases both short and long term, reduced taxes, less stress, and more time to work “on” the business instead of “in” it!

After completing his MBA and a short career in banking, Alec has owned and operated 3 different businesses over the last 12 years in Central Ohio.  Although Alec is an entrepreneur at heart, and has a passion for starting businesses, some of his greatest success comes from knowing how to “steer the ship” through tough times. His experience, education, and professionalism help him to provide tremendous advice and council to other business owners.

In 2008, Alec, along with his business partner, was a nominee for Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the year, and a 2008 award winner of Business First Fast 50 (Central Ohio’s fastest 50 growing companies).

Alec is on the Advisory Board of Thirst Relief International, a charity providing clean drinking water to developing countries, has served as the leader of “God’s Business” for over 6 years, an entrepreneurial-based small group at Vineyard Church and has also served as a board member of Project Help, a clothing ministry to the poor in Columbus.
