The future includes contact lenses that can sense blood sugar levels (in development at Google), tooth-embedded sensors that monitor what we eat (developed by the National University of Taiwan), and even capsule-sized devices powered by stomach acid that are swallowed to analyse our digestive tract (developed by US company Helius).
